Promotion of this book will include tapping into the “counter-culture,” or narratives that don’t support dominant power structures. By expanding the discussion from the political to the spiritual to information systems, ambassadors can be sought from any group with aligned values. Again, these would be anti-authoritarian, anti-dogmatic, pro-egalitarian structures.
In spirituality this would be the Zen Buddhist community. In politics it would be the “lower horseshoe” of Libertarians and Anarchists. And in technology it would be the open-source software community which Shazz argues is the basis for the modern internet and the latest social commons currently being captured by historic patterns of predation, as well as any of the popular community-moderated forum sites.
With the internet, Shazz himself can become a media outlet of one as he leapfrogs old channels to directly and organically grow his readership while still in the process of writing, giving them a vested interest in the journey and say in the final product.
